President's message
Well, one month has flown by and we are officially SOLD OUT.
We have just completed our Bud, Spud, and Steak; once again, it was another success. Thanks to all the helped with selling tickets, getting prizes, and working the door. Everything helped to contribute to this worthwhile event.
There was one meet in October and we had a great showing, good job to all that attended. This year is shaping up to be a very good year for our club. I am glad that you have all selected our club to be your club and continue the strong history WSSC has developed over the 90 years.

Fundraising
We have just come off our third Bud, Spud, and Steak which raised a fair amount of money. Thanks to all who contributed. The next fundraiser is the Grey Cup scratch tickets. In the past we have sold all 900 tickets, so go sell, sell, and sell. Each ticket sold a $1.00 goes into the skaters fundraising account. After the Grey Cup we will be done out fundraising for the year.
Bingo
Quarter One Bingo’s have all been filled up; with the dates being Nov 13 and Dec 17. A reminder email will be sent out a week before but please mark on your calendar, as missed Bingo will cost $150.00. If you can not make the assigned Bingo it will be up to the volunteer to find a replacement.
General Information
Practices have been running smooth; the coaches and I are very appreciative of the parents getting the mats on and off the ice so quickly. Please continue this work as it helps immensely and allows for a game at end of practice.
Team Apparel
We are looking at getting sweat shirts and sweat pants this year. You can get either and pricing will be coming in December. The club colors are Royal Blue and White so that is what colors we will be using.
Racing
Next race is Sunday November 28, 2010 at the St. Norbert Arena, between 8:40 am – 2:40 pm.
